ARE THE PRODUCTS AND PRICES OFFERED AT THE ONLINE STORE AVAILABLE IN-STORE TOO?

No, online products may be different and we are unable price match in-store.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO SHOP IN-STORE?

You must be 18 or older with valid proof of identification to enter and make purchases at all of our locations. Valid forms of identification include any government-issued photo ID: a driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc. Student IDs are not accepted and do not prove anything other than you being a student. A printed copy of an ID is not a valid ID. Legally, you are required to have the original card and not a photocopy.

CAN I VIDEO CHAT, TAKE PHOTOS, AND TAKE VIDEOS WHILE SHOPPING?

No, we do not allow camera use or video recording of any kind in our stores. Since there is a minimum age requirement to enter our store and shop, we cannot verify that the person on the other end is of legal age. We also do this to protect the privacy of other customers. The clerk will ask you to put your phone away or leave if you cannot do so.

WHAT IS THE BEST SELLING ITEM?

Every body is different. What you like might not be the same thing that another person likes. The associate will be able to help inform you on items that sell frequently, but it could also be an item that you may not enjoy. Our suggestions are to start small and test the waters first.

WHY DID THE CLERK OPEN THE PRODUCT IN FRONT OF ME BEFORE MAKING MY PURCHASE?

We do not accept returns or exchanges. Our associates are required to check any item(s) that vibrates, rotates, blinks, moves, etc. to ensure that it works properly before you leave the store. This gives the associate the ability to select a new item at the store in the event that the original item does not work while you are at the register.

WHAT FORMS OF IN-STORE PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Accepted payments include cash, credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express, and Apple/Google Pay. We do not accept payment via check, money order, or traveler's/cashier's check. 

DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS OR GIFT CERTIFICATES?

No, we have discontinued the use of Lovers Playground gift cards. Under special circumstances, such as receiving one at an event, you may receive a gift certificate valid for in-store use only. Please refer to the fine print on the gift certificate before use.

WHAT ARE YOUR STORE HOURS AND LOCATIONS?

Each store has a set of different hours. Please visit our location's page to find a store near you.

ARE YOUR STORES OPEN ON MAJOR HOLIDAYS?

Yes, most of our stores are open for business, including some major holidays. Special/holiday hours will be listed on each location's page.

WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE HOURS?

Our customer service department is normally available via email Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (CST) excluding major holidays and will respond within 48 hours or as soon as next business day.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

MAY I RETURN ITEMS PURCHASED FROM THE STORE THAT ARE NOT OPENED OR USED?

No, we do not accept any returns or offer exchanges. There is no way for us to tell if an item has been opened or not. For more information, visit our Returns & Exchanges Policy page.

DOES LOVERS PLAYGROUND BUY BACK DVDS, VHS TAPES, BOOKS, OR MAGAZINES?

No, we do not buy back DVDs, VHS tapes, books, or magazines. All of our movies and magazines are purchased new directly through the manufacturer.
